The consultation was organized by the Ministry for Women, Youth and Children Affairs (MWYCA).
Permanent Secretary for MWYCA, Mrs. Ethel Sigimanu stated that the meeting touched on areas critical to women's rights and suggest ways on improvements to certain clauses of the draft constitution.
Mrs. Sigimanu stated that the stakeholders were happy that the draft constitution covered areas that were not previously covered by the current constitution.
She says submissions will be put together by the group and brought up before the Constitutional Congress for their consideration.

Women Holds Consultation for Draft Federal Constitution
Relevant Women's organizations last week held a two day consultations to look at the clauses of the Draft Federal Constitution that caters for the protection of Women's rights.
