Opposition Leader, Fred Fono, raised the question following Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare's announcement of an independent team of expert legal advisors formed purposely to be engaged in the draw up of the 666 questions.
In the same announcement, Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare also denied that the Attorney General was the author of an extradition rejection letter to the Australian Government, which wants Mr. Moti to be tried in Australia for child sex charges against him in Vanuatu.
Mr. Fono said if the Government has paid for the services of the team of legal experts, then definitely the Treasury has been spending a lot of public money on just one foreign individual.
He said the money could be better spent on rural development, which will directly benefit the very people the Government continually says it wants to improve their income earnings - thus their living standards.

The Parliamentary Opposition is interested to know who is paying lawyers behind the 666 questions on the Attorney General, Julian Moti, for the Australian legal authorities to answer.
