Tekefono said Premier Lilo cannot hold the people of Western Province at ransom when he has minority support.
Mr Tekefono says by today nine other non executive members have recently put their support behind them and this shows that they now have 18 members in their camp.
He says Premier Lilo should prove his numerical strength by having his members signing a document and declaring that he has the number to continue run the government.
Tekefono also says the Premier should not sign any documents to spend any more funds from the province since he is leading a minority government and he should humbly step down as the premier.
Most of the executive and non executive members are still at their respective wards and likely to move to Gizo by this weekend to decide their stand in the current domestic political stalemate.
Western Premier Remains Underfire
The Solomon Islands Western Province member for Ward 10, Irrigila on Vella Lavella, Richard Tekefono, says the Western Province Premier, George Lilo has to prove that he has the number to continue to lead the government.
