The Bureau has appointed Sydney based, Tropics Tourism and Marketing Services as it's Australian marketing representative.
In making the announcement, Visitors Bureau's General Manager, Michael Tokuru, says that this is an exciting move forward for the Solomon Islands.
"More Australians are travelling to the South Pacific and the Solomon Islands want to be a part of this growth," says Mr. Tokuru.
Mr Tokuru says Solomon Islands offers pristine diving and eco-tourism travel experiences and the Visitors Bureau is looking to expand it presence in the Australian market.
He says they also look forward to welcoming more Australian visitors to Solomon Islands.
