This is according to a report by the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation.
According to the report, USP's Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Patrick Nunn, 'says the climate change is so pertinent an issue to all Pacific people'.
USP has about 20,000 in all its Pacific campuses and climate change will be part of the Pacific environment unit.
Meanwhile USP will soon offer scholarships on post-graduate studies on climate change, as well as appoint a Professor on Climate Change.
USP to Make Climate Change a Compulsory Subject
The University of the South Pacific (USP) is going to make Climate Change a compulsory subject for all of its students from next year.
