The office of the Solomon Islands Football Federation says player selection for the national Under 23 starts in the respective FAs, therefore the onus is on all PFAs to ensure they assemble their best team for the Telekom Cup competition.
The competition in Honiara is the only final process of selection whereby a selection panel will pick out the elite.
SIFF says the onus is on PFAs to ensure that players selected are the best in that category that are available for selection in their province.
Meanwhile, the Oceania Football Confederation has confirmed that the required date for players who will be representing their country in 2008 Olympic qualifying competition in Fiji is January 1, 1985.
"Only those who are born on or after that date are eligible for selection," it stresses.
Under 23 Selection in Process
Provincial football associations are being urged to select their best players for the upcoming Telekom Cup competition which kicks off on November 19.
