The Division is the authority for the certification of fish and fishery products for exports, under the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
It makes the assurance following allegations in the media that some of the company's products have poison in them.
But the competent authority says it has conducted food safety checks on the premises of Soltai and it has not found anything to suggest the company's products are contaminated.
The Environmental Health Division says products are only released to the public if it satisfies safety standards.

The Environmental Health Division has assured people in the country that Soltai Fishing and Processing company products in the market are safe for public consumption.
