The Mission is comprised of members from International Cooperation and Development Fund, Chi Mei Medical Center and Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital.
The Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital is a sister hospital with the National Referral Hospital since the beginning of 2006.
With this mission, there are six experienced doctors, who will provide different medical services.
The team which arrived in Honiara on Saturday will be in the country until the first of May.
In Cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Medical Service, National Referral Hospital and Medical Health Service of Guadalcanal Province, the Mission will visit the recently flood-devastated West and East Guadalcanal to render free Medical treatment for rural villagers.
The Mission will visit Malaita Province's Bita'ama and Sinafolo.
Taiwan Medical Service Mission Arrives in Honiara
A 10 member team of the Taiwan Medical Service Mission has arrived in Honiara.
