Governor General, Sir Nathaniel Waena appointed Father Albert Manera and Gideon Zoleveke Jr.
Fr. Manera and Mr. Zoleveke took their oaths of allegiance before Sir Nathaniel this morning.
Speaking after the ceremony, Mr. Zoleveke said taking the position would be a challenge as it is "not an easy task".
"Building accountability mechanism needs a lot of hard work...putting mechanisms in place to ensure that leaders are held accountable in what they do," Mr. Zoleveke told Solomon Times.
Swearing In of New Commissioners
Two Commissioners from the Leadership Codes Commission were sworn in at the Government House today.
