Solomon Islands convincingly won in straight sets winning 21-8 in the first set and 21-18 in the second set. New Caledonia defeated Fiji this morning and will play a crucial match against the Solomons 4 pm today.
In tennis the Solomon Islands tennis duo, Michael Leong and Johnson Taliki, defeated Guam's Justin Dugan and Adam Rudolph in both their matches. In the women's team events Zinnia Leamana and Ellah Wairiu also had a good start defeating the Marshall Islands.
SPG Updates: Beach Volleyball, Tennis
Beach Volleyball duo Sam Gwali and James David Waneasi defeated the Northern Marianas today at the Faleata Beach court in the second round of the pool games.
