Member of Parliament for South Choiseul, Reverend Leslie Boseto, officially handed over the report to Prime Minister, Dr Derek Sikua, yesterday at the Prime Minister's Office.
The report and presentation was to update the Prime Minister on how South Choiseul spent the tsunami funds allocated for the constituency and how far the reconstruction progress of tsunami-affected villages had gone under phase one.
Phase one allocation for South Choiseul from the National Government was SBD$1.63 million dollars.
Prime Minister Sikua was also shown a power-point slide show of the report.
The tsunami funds and project for the constituency was administered and implemented by the Lauru People Association of South Choiseul.

The South Choiseul Constituency has been the first of the tsunami affected areas of Choiseul and Western Provinces to give a formal financial report and progress presentation to the Prime Minister, Dr. Derek Sikua.
