Reports reaching Solomon Times from Suva said that the young Solomon Islander was selected after winning the gold medal for the men's singles in the recent West Pacific Tournament in Fiji.
Duncan and another two junior tennis players from Fiji and Samoa flew off to New Caledonia recently for a week.
This ranking tournament will enable Oceania Tennis to rank Duncan against other junior tennis players from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Success at the tournament will not only mean an ITF ranking but also a huge boost to Duncan's preparation for the SPG where he will represent Solomon Islands in the mens competition.
