Solomon Island Fijians Donate to Winston Victims
Fiji's Prime Minister, Hon. Voreqe Bainimarama this evening received FJD $87,044 from the Solomon Islands Fijian Community Association.

The assistance will go towards the Prime Minister's National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Fund for TC Winston victims.
PM Bainimarama said he was encouraged by the generous donation, and said it would go a long way to helping Fijians affected by the devastation of Tropical Cyclone Winston five months ago.
He also updated members of the Fijian community gathered at the meeting on the Fijian Government initiatives to help victims of TC Winston, including the ‘Help for Homes’ initiative.
PM Bainimarama who is in Honiara for the Pacific Islands Development Forum meeting this week was also hosted to a traditional welcoming ceremony and dinner.
