Sir Allan has been jailed for six months for a 2002 attack on a Honiara law firm.
Sir Allan, the current Minister of Forests was sentenced to 18 months by the High Court who also suspended 12 of his 18 months sentence.
Sir Allan was convicted in December 2007 for using militants to carry out the attack during the Ethnic Crisis.
The High Court ruled in favor of the prosecutor's appeal to increase his sentence and has ordered that his sentence be with immediate effect.
Sir Allan loses his Parliament seat as his sentence exceeded the six month limit imposed on Parliamentarians by the Solomon Islands Constitution.
His earlier attempts to appeal the conviction had failed.
Sir Allan is the third Member of Parliament to have lost his seat this year. Former Member for Central Guadalcanal, Peter Shanel and Former Member for East Honiara, Charles Dausabea also lost their Parliamentary Seats due to Jail terms.
