The Festival of Arts Director, Dennis Marita confirms that a revised lease agreement was signed between the two parties last Friday.
Mr Marita says the agreement allows the use of the Panatina Campus Lower grounds for the festival village.
He says the Festival organising committee will pay 500-thousand dollars to SICHE as a token of appreciation for allowing the use of the Lower Panatina grounds.
Mr Marita says work will recommences at the site from Monday October 24th.
The area covers grounds between the Solomon Islands Football Federation SIFF Academy and Our Telekom Recreational facility.
SICHE Allows Grounds for Festival Use
The Solomon Islands Festival of Pacific Arts committee has last week sealed a deal with the Solomon Islands College of Higher Education (SICHE) for the use of its grounds during the Pacific Festival in 2012.
