Police Commissioner Peter Marshall confirms that investigations into the incident on June 12th involving the Chief Superintendent and some junior police officers at the SICHE Panatina sports field in east Honiara, has been completed.
Mr. Ratu and some junior officers had been to the Queens birthday celebrations at the Government House, and then went drinking at the sports field after the function. A group of men attacked them while they were drinking at the Panatina field on that Friday evening.
Police Commissioner Marshall says Mr. Ratu appeared before a police tribunal headed by Deputy Commissioner Eddie Sikua Wednesday and yesterday.

Senior Police Officer Pleads Guilty
Provincial Police Commander of Honiara City Chief Superintendent Nathan Ratu has pleaded guilty to four of the six charges he is facing before a police tribunal.
