NDMO officer, Julian Maka'a, says the Guadalcanal Provincial Government confirmed three more deaths in addition to ten earlier death cases.
He says seven others are still believed missing.
Mr. Maka'a says about nine-thousand people on Guadalcanal have been badly affected by flooding.
However, he says that nearly 30-thousand people on Guadalcanal have been affected.
Mr. Maka'a says the final figures on the number of people actually affected will be clear when survey teams currently engaged in the ground assessment work complete their tasks.
Meanwhile, he says the current data collected estimates that about 96 percent of food gardens have been destroyed as compared to five percent homes.

Rise on Flood Death Toll
The National Disaster Management Office, N-D-M-O, has confirmed that 13 people have so far died following the recent flooding on Guadalcanal.
