Mr. Suri made the commitment at the opening of the 'Planning for Rejuvenation' workshop in Honiara.
In his statement, Mr. Suri reflected on the state of the AGC when he was in his private practice.
He highlighted that the professionalism and the performance of the AGC has declined over the past few years.
"A constitutionally independent Attorney General who, under the rule of law, fearlessly protects public interest through the provision of independent and highly competent legal services to the Crown will develop a stable and democratic Solomon Islands," said Mr. Suri.
He also expressed his appreciation to his staff for the enthusiasm and commitment to rejuvenate the chambers, and to the RAMSI law and justice program for supporting and rejuvenating the day.
