According to Prime Minister Sikua, the Facilitation of International Assistance Act does not say much on the economic reform assistance to the Solomon Islands.
However, Dr. Sikua stated that there is a lot of emphasizes on the restoration of law and order and not much on the rebuilding of the country's economy.
Dr. Sikua stated that it is of great importance that the Act be reviewed and re-aligned to make economic development assistance a priority if Solomon Islands is to benefit from the Mission.
