The company donated 66 tonnes or 3,300 bags of rice worth SBD85800.00 yesterday.
Owner of the company, Alex Wang, said donations is to go towards the relief assistance not only for northwest communities but also Lord Howe and other parts of the country affected by the recent floods.
In accepting the donation, Home Affairs Minister, James Tora, thanked Mr. Wang for the donation.
He said the Harvest Pacific has set an example which others should emulate.
The Minister assured Mr. Wang that the support goes to those who need them most.
Private Company Sets Example
A private company in Honiara is among many who are supporting flood victims through donations.
