He will join 12 other instructors from around the globe in Brazil where they will spend about three days assisting 34 match officials prepare for the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
Poloso said Oceania has only one referee appointed to officiate in the competition and plans are in place to see that the number of referees from Oceania is increased in future competitions.
"We want to have more referees from Oceania officiating in future World competitions and that is our goal," he said.
Meanwhile, Poloso's engagement with FIFA has helped put Solomon Islands on the map, particularly in refereeing.
Poloso off to Brazil
Local FIFA Referee Instructor, Neil Poloso will leave today for Brazil via Canberra Australia.
