The deceased male is believed to be aged between 35 and 45 years old and was about 5 feet 4 inch tall.
A medical examination of the body was conducted at the National Referral Hospital yesterday.
The deceased was wearing a pair of grey jeans that were cut around the knee area (cut-jeans) and a red jumper with black stripes from the top down.
Detectives from Central CID and the Serious Crime Squad are making enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death.

Police Seek Public Assistance to Identify Deceased
Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a male body that was discovered near the Varamata SDA Church at Vara Creek area at approximately 5.00pm on 15 December 2008.
