The suspect is wanted for murder that took place some weeks ago where the deceased was believed to have died from stab wounds.

Acting Police Commissioner, Peter Marshall, said a joint Royal Solomon Islands Police Force and RAMSI team have identified the suspect.

He said the suspect was identified by the people from East West Kwaio and Kwara'ae.

Mr. Marshall acknowledged the help from villagers who have been very helpful in assisting the investigation.

He called on locals to continue assisting the police and RAMSI in their ongoing investigation to apprehend the suspect.

The investigation team is working hard and searching nearby villages as investigation continue.
