The deceased was rushed to the Hospital by relatives but was pronounced dead by Medical Authorities shortly after arriving there. She was said to have suffered from medical complications at the Koa Hill community, situated along the Mataniko River.

Investigators have already spoken to a number of witnesses including relatives of the deceased and have obtained valuable information in relation to the incident.

The investigators are also waiting for the medical report to establish the possible cause of death.
