Police say the incident occurred at about 3am on Sunday following an argument. The man was said to have attacked his partner with a kitchen knife, inflicting serious wounds to parts of her body.
The victim was assisted to the National Referral Hospital by family members for medical treatment and later discharged in a stable condition.
Police were called up to the incident and upon making investigation they arrested the suspect at his residence. The suspect is currently remanded under Police custody.
Police Arrest Man for Stabbing Partner
Police have arrested a man in his 20's for allegedly stabbing his partner with a kitchen knife at their home in the Henderson area, East Honiara over the weekend.
