Dr Sikua reminded Premiers that a stable future lies in the ability and willingness of leaders to cooperate.
He urged the Provincial Premiers to join the national government in its endeavors to find a common purpose.
The Prime Minister also commended his government's policy initiatives to the premiers as they commence their annual conference in Lata today.
Dr. Sikua encouraged all Premiers to speak as freely and openly as possible during their discussions over the week.
The theme for the conference is "Common vision, for Common destiny".

During the Premier's Conference in Lata, Temotu, the Solomon Islands Prime Minister, Dr Derek Sikua advised Provincial Premiers not to be overwhelmed by the challenges the country is facing.
