The date was made following a postponement of the verdict yesterday.

Severino Nuaiasi lodged the petition against John Maneniaru citing allegations of bribery and treating and breaching of the Electoral law.

He claims Mr Maneniaru supplied food and paid large sums of money among other things to lure voters to vote for him in the National Elections last year.

Mr Nuaiasi also alleged that three persons from Makira Province who were not qualified voters were allowed to vote in the constituency.

He also claimed that six other persons who voted for Mr Maeniaru were under the 18 years age limit required under law.

Meanwhile outside the Court house this afternoon, Mr Maneniaru says he welcomes the adjournment of the judgement as another Court process and calls on his supporters to remain calm.

Asked what he thinks of his defence during the trial, he says he was satisfied with his defence.
