Finance Minister, Snyder Rini, who tabled the bill last week, wound up debates on the bill yesterday.

The 2009 Supplementary Appropriation Bill seeks approval for the spending of nearly 80-million dollars not initially budgeted for, to ensure that government policies, programs and commitments are delivered.

Winding up the bill, Mr Rini told Parliament that the bill is a responsible, forward looking and just one.

The bill will now come before parliament in its committee stage.
