The debate of the bill came following the tabling of it in its Second Reading in the National Parliament yesterday, by the Minister of Finance and Treasury, Hon. Snyder Rini.
The bill is to ask the National Parliament to approve the spending of another $201 million dollars until the end of 2008.
The 2008 Supplementary Appropriation Bill is mainly to cover the expenditure incurred by the issue of contingency warrants during the year, as well as for additional expenditure approved by the Solomon Island government.
