A meeting was held on Saturday in which more than twenty PAP supporters attended along with its Parliamentary Wing leader, North-west Choiseul MP Clement Kengava. The meeting unanimously agreed on PAP's withdrawal.
There were, however, notable absentees at the meeting. Those that were not present at the meeting included former Prime Minister Sir Allan Kemakeza, North Vella La Vella MP Milner Tozaka and the MP for Shortlands Augustine Taneko.
Earlier Sir Alan Kemakeza and Mr Tozaka stated that they would remain with the Opposition group.
