DPASI is planning to hold a 3 day meeting event with a theme "PWDS Lived Experiences; Our Rights," from the 13th to 15th November, 2007.
Stakeholders and key government representative will be invited to come and present what they have in store for people with disabilities.
Representatives of non-government organisations operating in the country will also attend to share their various activities in trying to mainstream disability issues in the country.
Our Telekom expects that this donation will assist DPASI to make the planned event a success and is pleased to support DPASI in its efforts to support its big population in the country.
DPASI executive conveyed their appreciation to Our Telekom for the continuous support to the association over the years.
Our Telekom Helps Disabled Peoples' Association
Our Telekom on Thursday donated $2000 to the Disabled People's Association of Solomon Islands, (DPASI) towards its upcoming events in Honiara.
