Mr. Sogavare wants the government to seek more consultations on the Bills.
Both bills are due to be tabled in parliament in its current sitting.
Mr. Sogavare said Members of Parliament ought to be extra-cautious about jumping into the bandwagon of a few religious fanatics who want to mix Christianity and politics.
He said these people are trying to get the proposed Political Party Integrity Bill and the Constitutional Amendment Bill rushed into parliament in their current limited-consultation form.
Mr. Sogavare said the proposed legal framework to address political stability in Solomon Islands is nothing more than a legal mechanism to establish a rigid parliament that will not be subject to the principles of democracy and good governance.
He said the Bills will breed corruption, dictatorship and undue control and therefore undermines the desired objective of legislating integrity.

Opposition Leader Manasseh Sogavare calls on the Government to withdraw the proposed Political Party Integrity Bill and its supporting Constitutional Amendment Bill.
The Bills will breed corruption, dictatorship and undue control: Opposition.
