"I am surprised that he is now accusing the sacked board and I am surprised he sacked the board when he himself should be blamed for not informing the cabinet and Prime Minister about the actual information about the financial viability of Solomon Airlines," said Huni'ehu.
Huni'ehu said it is in fact the Minister himself, Gordon Darcy Lilo, who must be held responsible since he is the one that informs the Cabinet and Prime Minister about government portfolio companies.
Mr Huni'ehu says the opposition is somewhat baffled that Mr Lilo chose to terminate the Solomon Airlines Board accusing them for the Airlines' financial and management problems.
He says the Finance Minister must do the right thing and table the Solomon Airline report in Parliament so that members can debate it.

Spokesman for the Opposition on Finance and Treasury, Edward Huni'ehu, stated that the government must be blamed for the current operational and financial problems facing Solomon Airlines.
