Organised by the National Disaster Management Office, the workshop held last week was one of four workshops planned initially to take place October 7 and 8 this year.
Date was however deferred to accommodate tight senior staff schedules who were attending other health courses in Honiara.
NDMO Director, Loti Yates, said he was very content with the outcome of the workshops.
Participants said the workshops had shown them a lot of simple things which posed threats to them while they work in the hospital.
The workshop included sessions on how to identify weaknesses in the hospital structure, designing and implement evacuation plans as well as running simple exercises to ensure plans are effective.
The workshop was funded by the Government and Oxfam International, Solomon Islands Office.
