SIBC's Andrew Nalua reports [yesterday] from Temotu provincial capital, Lata that the Provincial Speaker, Gabriel Teao, declined to released the name of the nominee and the nominators until the closing time, 12 midday [today].
The speaker was also unable to reveal which side of the Provincial government has nominated the candidate.
Call for nominations of candidates for the premier's post became necessary following the ousting of the former premier, Johnson Levela, in a motion of no confidence [Wednesday].
Election for the premier's post will be held Monday next week.

Only one nomination reached the office of the Temotu Provincial government Speaker for the position of premier at the close of official working day.
