Funds raised as part of the Pink Ribbon Dinner, a joint initiative between the First Lady's Charity Group and RAMSI, have been used to fund a new cancer registry at the National Referral Hospital.
This new registry represents a significant step in helping to tackle cancer in Solomon Islands, as it provides an important resource for the collation and documentation of cancer data across the country.
The Governor-General's wife, Madame Grace Kabui, will be joined by the Minister for Health & Medical Services, Hon. Clay Forau Soalaoi and representatives from the World Health Organization and RAMSI to officially open the new registry.
