Nationwide RIPEL Director David Tuhanuku who welcomes the actio stated that he still does not rule out the possibility that Patrick Wong is still hiding in Solomon Islands.
Mr Tuhanuku called on the authorities to continue to investigate this possibility and if indeed Mr Wong is still hiding in the country, he should be immediately arrested and deported from Solomon Islands beacuse he is not an investor but an undesirable element.
"As a director of the Nationwide Company, I will work and support any initiatives taken by the Solomon Islands Government to ensure that the operations in the Russell Islands resume as soon as possible."
Mr Tuhanuku says it is however urgent for the government to move quickly to resolve the RIPEL saga.
