Speaking to Solomon Times, Airlines General Manager Commercial Services, Gus Kraus, says increasing competition in the country is not creating much impact.
He says the airline will, however, still review after 6 months into the operation of rivals, the Pacific Blue.
Mr. Kraus says the airlines is not reacting to additional competition as this would "send out the wrong message".
"We are not reacting because we do not want the public to perceive problems from our side," Mr. Kraus says.
He says airlines will continue to create incentives that will benefit its customers.
"We react to low seasons, giving specials to our customers and looking at ways to increase business," Mr. Kraus adds.
He says airlines stands at being a carrier that offers "no more to pay".
"We may appear a little more expensive to our rivals but that is it, you pay no more once you have settled in your seat."
He says airlines incentives include the introduction of Dash-8 to complement domestic services for the passengers.
"This is currently on temporary basis and may be up for review after the initial 2 months period of operation in the country," Mr. Kraus says.
He adds that Solomon Airlines will always stand as the national carrier and "we've got base to continue to develop and expand our wings".
