Detectives from the National Investigation Division, with the assistance of Police officers from Atori and Atoifi Police Posts, arrested the suspect at his home village Thursday last week. The suspect was later flown to Honiara over the weekend.
Police Media office says the 21 year old suspect was charged with murder and has been remanded in Police custody where he is expected to appear in court on March the 8th.
In the meantime, police are urging members of the public to come forward with any information on the whereabouts of a suspected vehicle and its driver, believed to have transported the deceased to the location.

Police have arrested and charged a 21 year old man over the weekend in relation to the alleged murder of a young man, whose body was found at the Panatina oval early last month.
