The police believed the case was one of murder which occurred on the 16th of July.
The current key suspect is the woman's husband who was said to have accompanied her to the garden during that day. The villagers were alerted when both of them did not return that night. Upon searching the next day, did they find the body of the deceased covered with debris along the road track.
Acting Police Commissioner, Peter Marshall informed the media that the husband of the deceased has not returned to the village since the incident.
The husband of the deceased goes by the name of Mr. John Wangi and is a Nurse Aid and also a Youth Co-ordinator in Makira.
Commissioner Marshall urges the husband to come forward to clarify issues regarding the case.
The public is also asked to assist the police with this case.
Murder Case in Makira Still being Investigated
Police are still undergoing serious investigations on that of a woman found dead along a road track close to the Marapui village, Rawo District in Makira Province.
