The Member of Parliament for Maringe/ Kokota Constituency of Isabel Province, Honourable Varian Lonamai, has resigned from the Association of Independent Members of Parliament to join the Grand Coalition for Change Government.
Mr Lonamai stated the he decided to join the government upon the advice of his constituency. Mr Lonamai stated that he could better serve them if he was in Government. Mr Lonamai said he accepted the advice after some careful consideration.
The resignation is effective as of today.

The Government has increased its numerical strength by one with the decision by Hon. Varian Lonamai to join the Grand Coalition.
