The High Court of Solomon Islands imposed the ban following a Solomon Star publication of Andrew Te'e who is currently on trial for charges on four counts of murder.
With the trial still in place, the High Court has called on the media to refrain from any photo publications of Mr. Te'e.
The ban will be in place until further notice from the high court office.
