Police Media Unit reports that the man handed himself in to police at Central Police Station yesterday afternoon.
He is currently in police custody and is assisting police in their enquiries.
The stabbing incident that claimed the life of a young man from Guadalcanal took place last Saturday.
The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at the National Referral Hospital.

A 25 year old male person has surrendered himself to police in relation to a recent fatal stabbing incident at Honiara Central Market.
