Premier Irosaea says he would appreciate an explanation from responsible authorities why Mr Lusibaea's case was only brought before the court after 10 years.
Premier Irosaea however calls on supporters of Jimmy Lusibaea to remain calm and continue respecting the law.
He says it is important to deal with doubts and questions in a "lawful and respectable manner rather than placing ourselves in an undesirable situation which can cost lives and properties."
Meanwhile, when sentencing Mr Lusibaea to two years nine months in prison yesterday, Justice David Cameron explained that the delay for the matter to be listed for hearing was because Mr Lusibaea, among other issues, had other court matters.

Premier of Malaita Province has said that the case of Member of Parliament for North Malaita and Fisheries Minister Jimmy Lusibaea has left more questions than answers.
