Reporting from Port Vila, Tony Taro informed Solomon Times that 3 females and 8 males graduated with their law degree, with one of the female graduate, Tearo Beneteti, receiving a special award.
Mr. Taro said Solomon Islanders studying and living in Port Vila witnessed the graduation ceremony and beamed with pride at the recognition Ms. Beneteti received through the special award.
A graduation dinner was held later in the evening at the Iririki Island Resort.
Most students will be traveling back to Solomon Islands later this week.

Eleven Solomon Islands students graduated at the University of the South Pacific Emalus Campus in Port Vila, Vanuatu.
