The ceremony was conducted by the Commander of the PPF Denis McDermott and the Acting Police Commissioner Peter Marshall.
The trial project is designed to increase police presence in the community and to enable police to visit areas which do not normally have a regular police presence.
The vehicle to be utilised as the Mobile Post was sourced from local car dealership Ela Motors. The fit-out was also done by Ela Motors, who will also maintain and service the vehicle.
