The Kurukuru opened their scoring in just the second minute through Elliot Ragomo and within five minutes Micah Lea'alafa and Jack Wetney had extended the damage to 3-0.
Vanuatu looked to be adjusting to the speed of their opposition and keeper Daniel Mansale made a string of excellent saves to briefly keep the defending champions at bay.
But Jack Wetney added his second on 14 minutes and Stanley Puairana got in the act to add number five.
And the second half was one way traffic also, as Wetney took his personal tally to four and Lea'alafa notched his second. Egata also found the net twice as the Kurukuru ran amok with six more goals.
