Kenilorea Wins Petition Case
All charges against the MP for East Are’are Hon. Peter Kenilorea Jr. has been dismissed.

The petition case against the MP for East Are’are has failed, with the judge dismissing all allegations of corruption against the first term MP.
Kenilorea ousted Andrew Manepora in the 2019 elections, an election in which he won decisively. Kenilorea contested the 2019 general election under the United Party banner.
Kenilorea held several roles at the United Nations before deciding to return to the Solomon Islands, serving as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade.
