Kemakeza defected to the Opposition last week and also resigned from his ministerial portfolio.
He was sworn in by Governor General yesterday afternoon.
Unconfirmed reports also say that Stanley Sofu has also returned to the Government, although it is still unclear whether he holds a ministerial portfolio.
Kemakeza Sworn in as Minister
MP for Ngella, Mark Kemakeza, has been sworn-in as Minister for Mines of the National Coalition for Rural Advancement government.
