The event compromised of top artists and bands from Isabel Province. With the likes of Kekene, Sisiva, Sisirikiti and Pagasa taking centre stage thousands of fans showed up to support the drive. More than fifteen Isabel bands showcased their talent.
One committee member says "The event was a success and this is the first time we as an Isabel community have come together to showcase our talent and share compassion with our people in West and Choiseul"
The capital raised will be donated to the Western and Choisuel Provinces through the management of the National Disaster Council.
The committee praised the bands performances and thanked them for a valuable contribution to the cause and without their popularity such turnout could not have been much better.
Isabel for West and Choiseul raise SBD$ 48,000
An estimated SBD$ 48,000 was raised on Saturday's fundraising drive at the National Art Gallery organised by the Isabel for West and Choiseul committee.
